If you're new to the area or, like me, have lived in the beautiful and historically rich state of Pennsylvania all your life, I'd like to suggest some local attractions that are my personal favorites.
I remember, as a child, going to Roadside America for a grade school field trip. I was so fascinated by the many miniature displays of rural America that I went back with my own children and was just as amazed as an adult. What a great day trip for young and old alike. It is located just a short drive in Northern Berks County, Shartlesville, PA. You'll not be disappointed and admission cost is reasonable.
Another must see is the Crayola Factory @ Two Rivers Landing in Easton, PA. I must say, I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or me. Come early and plan to stay all day. Again, reasonable admission for a whole day of family fun.
For adults, Clover Hill Winery and Vynecrest Vineyards and Winery, both located in Breinigsville, PA in the Lehigh Valley have some of the best local flavors for both the novice and seasoned wine connoisseur.
Crazy about martinis? Or just want to enjoy a night out that includes an amazing cuisine? Then Grille 3501 is the place to go for a fabulous dining experience.
Bushkill Falls and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary are two wonderful local attractions that appeal to the outdoorsman in all of us. Bushkill falls located in the Pocono Mountains offers 8 scenic waterfalls.

Whether you're a seasoned hiker or casual walker, you can pick the trails that are right for you. The sights and sounds of these beautiful natural wonders are sure to please.
